Last month we held our first Dreams To Reality business startup workshop as part of the Grow in Gravesham project. Thank you to Lisa from the Let’s Do Business Group for leading the workshop on the hottest day of the year!

Mentee Elliot opens crowdfunding to support new film
This summer, one of our young business owners Elliot Foreman mentored by Beth Turner is directing a faith-based short filmed entirely in Kent. His team is crowdfunding and inviting local business sponsors.
In return, they’re offering: a significantly discounted marketing video and credit in the film/publicity. A great opportunity for businesses seeking quality video content while supporting a local arts project.

🔎 New Updates to Data Protection Laws
The Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 updates key aspects of data protection law, making it easier for UK businesses to protect people’s personal information. Under the Act, some cookies can now be used without consent and organisations are required to have a data protection complaints procedure.
