The Kent Foundation is an essential part of the business community, supporting innovative young people to grow new enterprises, create employment opportunities, and contribute to the economic well-being of the County. Start-ups are essential to growing a successful economy. In 2025 we will be celebrating our 40th anniversary – having inspired, created, and successfully grown hundreds of new enterprises in Kent.

Our mission is to ensure all young people in Kent get the support they need to be successful in starting and growing a business, so contributing to the overall economic value of the county.

Stephen Wise
Stephen has worked in marketing for over 20 years, forming and running multiple companies, working with some of the biggest brands in the world.
Linda Garcia
Linda contributes 30+ years experience in management consultancy across 3 continents.
Liz Jenkins
Liz is an experienced coach and facilitator, coaching clients to explore potential career futures and develop career management and career building skills.
Mike Pay
Mike has a broad range of experience as a business owner, and within business management.
Lesley Game
Lesley is the previous chair of Kent County Council and is a current serving councillor representing Clifftonville in Thanet.
Simon Mahon
Simon is our Charity Treasurer & Company Secretary, bringing a wealth of expertise in his role as Partner in a multinational professional services partnership, specialising in Expatriate Management & Human Capital.
